These days, everyone is claiming to be cleaning experts. TikTok trends and tons of Youtube how-to videos are proof that we are absorbing and sharing more information than ever before.

And unfortunately, we always make the mistake of going for trending ways with the promise of teaching us something effective.

However, this may not be the case for cleaning. A technique may be trending, but it does not automatically mean that it is effective in killing bacteria and viruses.

Leave it to professionals who have used tried and tested cleaning strategies, (Like us 🙂 )

These are some of our tried and tested cleaning hacks that we can guarantee you:

Allot a spa day for your washing machine

Once or twice a month, you can run a hot wash (60 degrees celsius) with no garments or detergents in it. This will rid your machine of mold and bacterias. Plus, your garments will thank you for it!

Toothbrush for hard to reach spots

Old toothbrushes are perfect for cleaning hard to reach spots and corners! A dry toothbrush can easily reach sliding door jams, window sills, and under the countertop areas.

You may also add a pinch of baking soda with vinegar and water for your solution. Let it dry for a few minutes, then wipe it up with a clean cloth.

Your Gloves should not be used forever.

Used and abused gloves are doing harm more than it can prevent bacteria. If used more than a few times, it will definitely set you back in cleaning.

Gloves are filled with germs and easily spread when you touch other things. Do not reuse them!

You can wash your hands with antibacterial soap and water instead. Sing the “Happy Birthday song” in your mind to time it, securing all areas of your hands.

It may seem natural to use gloves to protect your skin and the surfaces that you clean, but given its nature, it’s actually more dangerous if you re-use them.

Use Coffee to Naturally Deodorize Your Refrigerator

We know that the fridge stores all kinds of perishables inside the house. A spill of sauce here and bits and pieces of food there, and voila! A smell will come after a few days if not cleaned.

Use coffee to make it smell great again (But of course, you have to clean the spills) Get a small bowl and put coffee in it and you have your instant new smell for your fridge!

All these cleaning techniques are super easy to do in your home! However, deep cleaning and disinfecting are a whole different battle.

Let us handle the work and be confident that your home is safe and healthy for your family!
